On the occasion of International Mangrove Conservation Day, Team RyAksha proudly joined hands with @swachha_vasundhara_abhiyaan for a meaningful cleanup drive at Carter Road, Bandra.
The morning was filled with energy and purpose as student volunteers and community members came together, demonstrating the incredible strength of youth-led action in protecting our planet. Armed with gloves, bags, and determination, participants cleared litter and debris from the coastline—helping restore the natural beauty of the area and safeguarding the mangroves that silently shield our shores.
Mangroves are vital guardians of our environment, protecting coastlines from erosion, filtering pollutants, and providing a safe haven for biodiversity. By cleaning and caring for them, we take a step toward a healthier, greener future.
We are grateful to @rahulnkawde, @deepak.kawde, and the entire Swachha Vasundhara Abhiyaan team for their leadership and collaboration in making this initiative a success.
Let’s continue to act for nature, because a greener tomorrow starts with the actions we take today. Together, we can create cleaner coasts, healthier ecosystems, and a brighter future for generations to come. 💚🌊🌱
